TRACC

TRACC

Please note, as these are an NCHRP-350 system, the TRACC family of crash cushions are no longer approved for new installations on the state highway network. For a MASH compliant crash cushion, please refer to the Quadguard M10 series.

The TRACC Crash Attenuation Cushion is a fully redirective, non-gating, bi-directional energy absorbing crash cushion designed to protect motorists from impacting the end of concrete barriers, toll plazas, bridge piers and other hazards in both temporary and permanent work zone locations.

The 6.4m TRACC system meets the requirements of NCHRP 350 Test Level 3 and is acceptable for all posted speeds.

The TRACC is pre-assembled to facilitate rapid installation, thereby minimising disruption to traffic flow. The TRACC is not a disposable system. Upon impact a replacement unit is sent to site for changeover. Complete replacement protects workers by limiting their exposure to traffic. Damaged units are repaired at the local Ingal workshop and the customer is invoiced for the costs associated with the costs of repairs only.
